Sat. and Sun - Sept. 13 & 14- Silver City, NM - Gough Park - PICKAMANIA - We play from 1:00 to 2:00 PM on Saturday. Playing with us will be Paul Rangell (from the original Bayou Seco band on Guitar and Mandolin) and Terry Bluhm (from the Bayou Seco Electric Band 0n Acoustic Bass).
We will also have a workshop on Sunday Morning on New Mexico Tunes, including Spanish Colonial Dance tunes and some tunes from the Lewis family from Crow Flat, NM - it starts at 9:30 AM and ends at 11:15 AM at the Mimbres Regional Arts Council office in the Wells Fargo building on Pope across from Gough Park. It costs $20.00 and is open to all instruments. We will be handing out some music transcriptions. Call the MRAC office to reserve a spot and for more info. (575)538-2505.
